IS YOUR WEBSITE A TURNKEY?

 

Crux only wants to create web sites that give a “WOW” factor. Some may ask why? Sit back, relax and I’ll try to explain how to turn a turnkey website into a great website.

The average user when web browsing (not searching on google for an exact web name) will only spend less than ” 5 ”  seconds on a site before they move on unless something grabs their attention.

Google has promoted, that to help with your Search Engine Optimization, (SEO) it is important that a site has “Unique” content from start to finish.

What does this mean to you the customer? How can a site that you bought and paid for and look so good not increase your visibility on the net?

Google points out that website content should be used in “REAL WORDS” that the average person uses and understands.  Don’t write content that SEO Specialists preach on high about.

We follow all Google guidelines when creating your website.  Why should you have to spend hundreds, sometimes thousands more for supposed experts to tell you what Google already tells us for free?

The most important part though is on your end,  you the owner of your website have to do a bit of work, and here’s why:

Google is always tweaking their algorithms, they do this to bring the best search results to the users who are using their search engine.  They are constantly fighting a battle with these SEO Ninjas (It’s their term, not mine) who are always trying to game the system.

Have you ever done a search and landed on those “Link Farms” (Click the link, it will explain what a link farm is.).  After a while, you get disgusted or just move on to something else in your daily schedule and the customer never gets to your outstanding web site. Google has given us,  the real web producers ways to combat this.

Google’s advice:

  • CREATE UNIQUE AND ACCURATE PAGE TITLES
  • ACCURATELY DESCRIBE THE PAGES CONTENT
  • CREATE UNIQUE TITLE TAGS FOR EACH PAGE
  • USE BRIEF BUT DESCRIPTIVE TITLES
  • OFFER QUALITY CONTENT AND SERVICES
  • WRITE EASY-TO-READ CONTENT

The two most important parts of the recommendations above are creating unique and accurate page titles, and, write easy-to-read content.

You,  the owner of your website have to update your site and should do so regularly.  We recommend at least once every 2-4 weeks.

Include a blog on your site, tell the customers about why they should come to your site,  your store, or your company regularly to see what’s new.

If you follow these suggestions, and moreover GOOGLES suggestions, you will find your site improves with hits and your business will hopefully increase as well.
