Factory for the World
Showcasing Racine County’s industrial and manufacturing factories, this new exhibit at the Racine Heritage Museum tells the history of this hardworking local Wisconsin community. Racine has been the home to local industry almost since the city’s founding and has developed and produced manufactured and agricultural goods in response to national and global events. Out of this response came Horlick’s Malted Milk, food mixers, military tanks, Little Golden Books and floor polish.
