Richard E. Linder Center Athletic Museum
The University of Cincinnati Lindner Center Athletic Museum celebrates the past, present, and future of UC athletics. The ground level alone of the five-story atrium features the George and Helen Smith Museum that details the history of both the athletics program and the university. Sports histories throughout the museum are portrayed in graphic murals and on video screens.
Collaborating with Xibitz and Perkins+Will Architects, Crux Creative took conceptualized graphics themes and brought them to reality in print for many of the display areas that were designed throughout the museum. This included an area of the museum with several stories of ceiling tiles that would be incorporated into the graphic design. Crux Creative blended photos together on the ceiling tiles, to develop murals on glass with extensive detail and color sensitivity.
