Franklin Fueling Systems

Madison, Wisconsin

Franklin Fueling Systems, located in Madison, Wisconsin, is a subsidiary of Franklin Electric Co. Inc., a global leader in the production and marketing of water and automotive fuels.  It designs and produces piping, fittings, and systems for gas stations and mission critical electrical grid systems.

Franklin Fueling has 12 brands across 11 product categories and provides design-build-installation services. This North American location hosts a multitude of world-wide customers and employs hundreds of individuals and was seeking a way to enhance the onsite customer experience while also educating visitors and employees alike about their brands and products.  Crux was hired to fulfill those objectives.

One solution involved creating a company history wall to help aesthetically enhance an enclave in the facility’s reception area. To help bring the current brands to life and highlight their complexities succinctly, the second solution included designing six product displays on two sides of a long hallway.

The product displays were complex to design, build and install, especially because most of Franklin’s products are extremely heavy and lighting was required to enhance each display. As such, design ingenuity, engineering, electrical distribution, and safety concerns were critical in the design planning of these walls.

Each solution tells a story aesthetically and graphically through LED lighting, stand-off panels, direct print images, mounted products, specialized font styles, dimensional lettering, content, and more.

“These panels look so great up and we’ve had so many compliments about them! Lots of people stopping to look and read through these displays. They are making an awesome impact to the office. Thank you all for your hard work and great craftsmanship.”
