Matrex, a full-service experiential, interiors, and events company located in the Chicago-Metro area, tasked Crux Creative with revamping their outdated website. Although functional, Matrex’s previous website was not designed to perform optimally on the web nor were they competing well in the digital landscape. They wanted a fresh look, to simplify the customer user experience, be able to update and manage simple website changes, and increase their company’s rankings to consistently appear on Page 1 of a Google search.
Crux Creative provided a strategy on how to best address each of Matrex’s objectives. A wire frame [aka a map] of the recommended digital customer experience was created to help visualize and understand the flow of the new site. The Crux team produced graphic design and video concepts, wrote client content, header tags, etc., and wrote specifically for the way the web reads web pages, created SEO content for better search, page ranking, and traffic results, performed key word searches, and built the site in WordPress to make it easy for the Matrex team to edit and manage the new site themselves.
