It feels like eons ago, we were shoulder to shoulder at trade shows and expos, toting around branded canvas bags filled with other branded swag, pockets full to the brim with business cards, networking within our industries over drinks in a hotel bar. Someday, we will have that same experience again, but in the meantime, how do we step (safely) back in that direction?

We know how a successfully executed trade show can benefit your business, generate leads, and promote your brand and mission. Given the numerous advantages of exhibiting and attending these events, we are sure they are not things of the past. And they look relatively similar to that of our circa-2019 pre-COVID world. We plan to see increased precautions, such as showing a vaccine card or recent negative COVID test, social distancing plans and limited or staggered attendance, mask requirements, contact tracing, hands-free or touchless interactives, and temp checks upon arrival, to keep attendants and exhibitors safe. Some events have deployed contact-tracing measures as well. That said, attending, presenting, and exhibiting are all currently possible, and every precaution is being utilized to bring safety and peace of mind to the forefront of each event.
